Ellen and Kevin Rooney on Landsbury have the Yard of the Month for May. Our judge was Julie Morgan, a past winner, who noticed this planting featuring yellow and red tones.
The front of the house is framed by two mature crape myrtles. Beneath these are planted red salvia, yellow and gold marigolds and yellow day lilies.
The entrance is framed by sago palms, with antique planters of asphidistra and brilliant red begonias.
Ellen and Kevin will display the IEJT Yard of the Month sign in their yard, and can shop for more plants at Clegg's Nursery with the $25 gift card donated by Clegg's.
