Civic Association Enjoys Jambalaya Event

The neighborhood enjoyed a fabulous get-together last Sunday, September 8, around the Jefferson Terrace Pool.  Civic Association board members dished up jambalaya dinners to association members.  The little ones savoured the last bits of summer with a dip in the pool while neighbors caught up with one another over a delicous meal of jambalaya, white beans, and salad.  We are delighted to announce that several new families came out for the festivities and joined the association.  We are growing more and more!  A special thanks to volunteers Jimmy, Agnes, and Nadine who helped us dish up meals to a hungry crowd!  If you are not yet a member of our neighborhood civic association, now is a wonderful time to join.  Annual dues are only $20 and paid members are invited to join us each year for this annual jambalaya dinner event.  Families may stay and swim or pick up boxed lunches (for every member of your household) and take them home to enjoy. For more information on membership, click www.iejtonline.com/membershipform.htm.
